Biography :
Trista Hendrickson is an artist working out of the Casket Arts Building in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Her work consists primarily of popular culture icons. Trista’s signature painting technique is comprised of simple layers of shapes and colors, deconstructed with dynamic contouring. Popular culture imagery is seen every day, and multiple times a day – to the point where it’s almost transparent because of over commercialization and digested in quantity. Trista’s work is an invitation to rediscover and make a personal connection with these powerful and unique images. While she is new to exhibiting, her commissioned work can be found throughout the United States, Canada and New Zealand.
